FACS

The FACS Facility at BRIC is a state-of-the-art multi-colour flow cytometry facility with two FACS Caliburs and one FACS Aria.


Our FACS Caliburs can perform 4 colour/6 parameter flow cytometry analysis and our FACS Aria can perform analysis and high-speed cell sorting with 12-colours/14-parameters.
The Facility is located in lab 4-3-12 on the third floor and serves all research groups at BRIC.

We can offer:

  • Help with analysis on the FACS Calibur

  • Training in flow cytometry on the Calibur so you can analyse your cells.

  • Analysis of cells with more than four fluorochromes.

  • Cell sorting from cell suspensions into different tubes, plates (96-well, 48-well, 24- well, PCR plates and others) and onto slides.

  • Training in using FlowJo, an analysis program for data acquired on flow cytometers.

Equipment:  

  • FACS Aria with 3 lasers and 14- parameter high speed cell sorting

  • FACS Calibur with 2 lasers and 6- parameter analytical flow cytometry
