BRIC Master Thesis Projects
Every year around 25 master students finish their thesis work in one of our laboratories. Our master students engage in projects lasting from 6 months to 2 years depending on their educational background. The project is a unique opportunity for students to display their talent within our fields of research. Every year the best master students are offered to continue as PhD students at BRIC.
Who can apply?
We are seeking highly motivated and engaged students. To start a master thesis project at BRIC you should be finished with your undergraduate studies, or you should be able to finish within a short time. Your background should be within Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Life sciences, Biology or related areas. You will be part of one of our research groups that works within your area of interest. Both Danish and foreign students are encouraged to apply.

In return we expect that you display your full potential through strong drive and discipline throughout the research project. You will be an integrated part of one of our research groups.
Application Deadlines
We have two yearly application deadlines:
February 1st and September 1st
At these dates most groups are open for new master students and we aim at admitting a group of new students together. Besides this we sometimes advertise single master thesis projects whenever possibly- see the box on the right.
If you apply in February we expect you to start in Autumn (around September)
and to start in spring (around February) you should apply in September.

Motivation letter
Preferred choice of research laboratory at BRIC
Your CV
Academic track record
Furthermore, the applicant should provide two letters of recommendations send directly to masterprogramme@bric.ku.dk (subject: master thesis) from the supporting persons.
We aim at replying to all applicants within one month from application deadline.

Scolarships
We don´t offer scolarships for master students, so you will need to finance your stay in Copenhagen yourselves.
