Open call for fellowships: International leadership programme for postdocs
The Postdoc to research LEADer programme (LEAD) is an international postdoc programme supported by the H2020 Marie S. Curie COFUND programme (grant no 945322). LEAD’s goal is to empower diverse research talents to become the next generation of creative, collaborative, responsible and inclusive research leaders. After completing the programme, fellows should be able to apply for their first research leader position in academia, biotech or industry.
LEAD will recruit 16 experienced researchers (2-5 years from their PhD) over two calls. The selected researchers will be offered fully paid 3-year postdoc fellowships. The programme is open to highly motivated and skilled international candidates, who want to pursue a research leader position in academia or beyond following their training. The candidates will work on their individual research project in one of BRICs research groups and at the same time engage in leadership and transferable skills training and career development activities.
"This is an important programme for BRIC, as it gives us the opportunity to invest even further in the training of scientific talents, which is one of the main aims of BRIC", says Head of Strategic Research Support Katrine Sonne, who will lead the project together with a committee consisting of BRIC's director Anders Lund, group leaders Janine Erler and Luis Arnes and sr. scientific officer Séverine Le Bras.
The 2021 call for fellowships is now open – deadline to apply is February 22nd 2021. Expected start of position is September 1st 2021. To read more about LEAD and to apply, please visit lead.ku.dk
