Workshop description
Self-leadership is the process by which people become more comfortable with who they are and what they want, thus leading to better communication, leadership of self and of others and fulfillment. In this workshop we will explore the topic of self-leadership by addressing self-awareness, self-confidence and self-efficacy. At the same time, the workshop provides a space where participants can exchange ideas and strategies on how to cope with situations they find challenging

Objectives and content
At the end of the seminar, the participants will:

• Recognize that good leadership starts within,
• Be more aware of their values, strengths, achievements and intentions,
• Understand how personality, biases and stereotypes (theirs and those of others) impact their (professional) life,
• Have a clearer view of their different roles in all areas of their life, what is most important in each one, and how to achieve this,
• Feel strengthened in their capacity to find effective and satisfying ways to deal with challenges concerning their various role,
• Identify their own strategies to develop their self-leadership.

Attendance
The attendance is free of charge for the postdocs/assistant professors employed at BRIC/Finsen.
Postdocs and assistant professors from other departments at the university of Copenhagen will be able to participate if seats are available. Price:  6900 DKK
You are required to attend the full workshop.

Cancellation policy
If you don´t show up or cancel your participation less than 2 weeks before the workshop, you will be charged the full cost of the workshop
