Group Leader Jesper B. Andersen has been appointed professor in translational hepatology by June 1st 2023.
Jesper B. Andersen has been a group leader at BRIC since 2014.
The goal of Andersen Group is to unravel the biological mechanisms leading to primary liver and biliary tract cancers and thus, understand the molecular pathogenesis. The ambition is to translate solutions to the clinic for improved patient outcome.
Group Leader Claus S. Sørensen has been appointed professor in familiar breast cancer by June 1st 2023.
Claus S. Sørensen has been a group leader at BRIC since 2007.
The aim of Sørensen group is to understand how mammalian cells ensure genome stability. The ability to protect and maintain a stable genome is crucial to avoid numerous diseases including neurological disorders and cancer.
