- Sharing scientific knowledge and experience
- Point to useful resources such as social groups (fx sports teams, special interest groups), websites/apps etc.
The role of the buddy does NOT include

Benefits for the buddy
An opportunity to share your experiences at BRIC/Finsen and the interesting and/or useful stuff you have discovered at UCPH/Copenhagen so far. This is also a great chance to extend your network to researchers you might not otherwise have a chance to interact with.
Benefits for new employees
Have an experienced colleague from another BRIC/Finsen lab as a buddy to learn/ask/share about the structure, research groups and possibilities at BRIC/Finsen and KU as well as the life in Copenhagen and Denmark. It involves the possibility of participating in social activities, such as sports and parties, simply chatting over coffee, and maybe to get a new friend.
Length of the program
6 months.
