Teaching opportunities

At BRIC, you have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills.

The procedure

1 - Information meeting

Henrik Hasseldam and Cord Brakebusch  present the courses with BRIC employees as course leader as well as the different workshops/courses you could attend.

Number of participants: limited to 12

2 - Letter of interest

The letter should contain:

  • Motivation in teaching
  • Previous experiences, if any
  • Area of interest
    Please send the letter to Henrik Hasseldam

3 - Meeting with Henrik Hasseldam 

During the meeting, Henrik will discuss with you the different possibility accordingly to your experience and he will allocate you a mentor.

4 - Mandatory Workshop: “getting started as teacher”

The aim of the meeting is to give you some practical tools which you can use in your teaching.

Introduction to university pedagogy

An introductory course in pedagogy where you get both theoretical knowledge and practical tools to improve the quality of your teaching. The goal is to enable you to plan, teach and evaluate lessons and organize the activities so that they support learning as best as possible. It is an intensive 4-day course, all within the same week.

The Centre for Online and Blended Learning 

offers workshops on technology supported learning and training for all teachers at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
